The cord is long. I am 5’2” and was able to clean the ceiling vents without a step stool. The suction was fabulous. We tried it on vinyl floors, turning off the roller bar to prevent scratches. It moves well, is very lightweight, and the pivot feature is pretty slick. We will test it on carpet later this week. We had a Dyson animal. This one is much better!
