    There's a pretty good chance your bios will scream "90E" about the fan not being connected or malfunctioning (likely false positive) in my case the PSU fan is still working. This unit also appears to be platinum rated, and in the 500W capacity no such PSU exists (officially from HP) so I don't see why I should return this. The official alternative is of lesser quality.

    Model numbers listed in description is what brought me to buy it. However the model number of the actual recieved item is not the model number I need. I feel this is falsely advertised to get sales, but it's my fault for also not checking more closely. This PSU doesn't have the proper P2 connector and thus throws an error for missing PSU fan on every boot. Still functional otherwise.
