    Solved a difficult problem

    I had a downspout that literally ended in the high roots of a huge bush (Crepe Myrtle). In trying to repair the gutter, I was left with few options: take the outflow off and drain directly down next to the foundation, cut out the bush, move the entire downspout by replacing 10 feet of guttering, or reroute the bottom somehow. I found this product and gave it a try. It fit perfectly onto the end of my downspout, and was long enough and flexible enough to reroute the water flow into the middle of my front garden - perfect. The hose is connected so well I did not bother to fasten it on, which will make cleaning it out much easier than before. The Bush is pleased - I put away the axe.
