    Survival Must Have!

    I use these whenever it has rained a lot and no other match works as good. I have tried many different brands and types. This brand made by UCO is by far the best. Usually only need ONE match to get the fire started, and in any survival kit, I highly recommend these!

    The only firestarter to work in wet and high altitude adventures!

    I was on a survival training course and out of all the fancy pants lighters and matches that I brought along, these were the only ones that would light. We were in a downpour at about 6K ft. elevation at below freezing temperatures with moderate to high winds. These matches were the only thing that allowed us to start our emergency fire. I trust these over all my fancy lighters any day!

    Just like they described.

    I bought some to see if they did what they showed on the video. I struck the match to get it burning. I then dipped the match into a bowl full of water. The flame went out but after I took it out of the water, I shook the match and it reignited. It did everything it showed on the video. If you are looking for something to put into a survival bag, this is one item you need.

    These are the best matches for trying to light a fire in the woods.

    These are larger than regular matches and will burn for over 15 seconds; even in the rain. Matches and strickers need to be kept dry, but once ignited gives you a long time to get tinder and twigs burning !

    The matches are well made along with my metal water proof holder I have enough to split between camping gear, home emergency pack, car emergency pack I live in earthquake zone so prep for all 3 scenarios is essential! Great price cant complain.
