    Great wireless sensor for your system

    If you don't like the box on the interior side of the door, this is your solution. Easy to install, only issue is that the drill bit needed to install is large. Installed and works great, good range and easy to change battery if needed.

    Wish the plastic was a bit stronger

    I like the form factor. The range seems good. The two problems I have is that the plastic is softer than I would like. I can see the slot in the cap becoming deformed eventually when using screw drivers to remove it and I might have have to cut a hole at that point to remove it. The second problem I had is adjusting the magnet spacing. I in fact replaced the magnets with some from Home Depot because they would not trigger. In two cases where the transmitter was mounted at the top of the window I had to actually pull it out of the slot a little bit to get it close enough to the magnet to fire properly.

    Easy to Hide

    Honeywell makes good security products. These door sensors install easily in a 3/4-inch opening. The battery life is excellent, lasting five or more years in use. Once installed, they virtually disappear saving untold effort running hardwired switches.
