    Having years of knitting experience with cashmere we believe this yarn advertised as 100% cashmere is not so. A burn test suggests it is 100% natural fiber. It does not have a shine = good. It does not have the density that pure cashmere does. It has stretch that cashmere does not have. It is mercerized as per label. Our best observation is that it feels, knits & behaves like super wash wool. It is really decent yarn but we believe it is not pure cashmere.

    The blue merino and cashmere I purchased is not colorfast and spread blue dye all over my sink and other projects. Knitters beware!! Seller please reply and let us know how to treat and if all this blue dye is safe?? I have tried a vinegar soak twice and there is still blue dye everywhere. Very sad
