    Item arrived promptly and was a direct replacement for the worn grip ring on my CLD-v820. Before installation, my player would squeak and struggle to play discs. Now, it appears to play flawlessly in initial testing. The item came with fairly detailed instructions, although example pictures would have been nice. Still, hard to complain considering it fixed my machine. Positive transaction, would buy again if I ever find another player to fix.

    Item is new or like new and though I don't need to replace the current grip ring on the CLD-79 this is a piece that failed before on this 20 plus year old player. Nice to have a back up for when the current ring fails. Quickly shipped and well packaged the instructions included are clear and concise and should help anyone in replacing a critical component necessary for laser disc playback.
