    Item is a nice soft leather in black. The supple texture will work out great with the bible my wife plans to place in there and the extra space will allow room for notes and papers. Considering what bible cases cost, why not get one in leather? You can get one that is stiffer and heavier but this is smooth and soft. Why not?

    Bible cover

    This case is quality. Very sturdy. Fits large Bibles. NIV study Bible, large hardbacks. Get one, it’s better made than what you’ll find in a bookstore, & most others on eBay. The handle is sturdy as well. I’m buying another one!

    Very nice cover for this price. Protects the precious Bible.

    Very nice for this price.I took it out of it's plastic and let it air out for a week. Smell was perhaps from the leather dye that was used. It's not a bad smell, I just didn't want to put the Bible in until the smell dissipated a little. No big deal. My old large Open Bible fits in with room to spare. the cover has a liner inside of it that protects the Bible I really like this Bible cover. It has a pouch that you can put a marker in if you like. The pouch closes with Velcro. The zipper works smoothly and seems to be good quality. Has a handle on it also. It came delivered very quickly,

    My new reading lap-desk

    Nice quality and the perfect size for reading my classical history books on location. But I understand its perfect for your bible too if that is your daily read. It has some nice extra pockets on the outside and inside enough space to ad a notebook and pen and glasses. Perfect!
