    Excellent shaving with Wilkinson Razor Blades

    Wilkinson Sword Razor Blades have consistently been excellent in shaving for as many years that I've used them. I haven't found any other blades that even come close to Wilkinson Blades.

    Definitely a multi-pass blade.

    Did my first shave using the Wilkinson in a vintage Old Type OC, and had to go back and hit spots that a GSB would take out on the first WTG pass. Even going ATG on my jawline left enough to hit a third time. Might cut closer in a more aggressive razor, but would also be a bit rougher. I'll try it again on one of my adjustables set on "6" and find out. It did take out the stubble in my trouble spot, but that was more technique than the blade, as I've been working harder on it. I would get these only if my other choice was van der Hagen.

    German blades for 35 cents each.

    New Old Stock, Wilkinson Sword, made in Germany. These don't date to the Warner Lambert days, though, but they appear the same.
