The compass after the latest update is a bit more useful in that it now indicates North somewhat accurately and can now aid you in keeping your bearings better. The support was good and a quick response after I asked about the compass. I think that maybe for my needs outdoor GPS tracking/route finding that a different more GPS oriented smartwatch would have ben a better fit
