    Poor design

    The measuring lines are in black, high lighted with white. The white highlighting makes it difficult to accurately cut and measure. You cannot see through the white highlighting to the material you are working on. It would be great to find a ruler with just the measuring lines without the highlighting. The measuring lines also wear off with use quite quickly. If they were imbedded inside the plastic it would be much better and more durable. A ruler without measurement lines is worthless no matter how good the plastic is!
