    Greater starter board

    I am new to using mixers and recording equipment and needed something easy to learn starting out with, but not something I would immediately outgrow. This unit fit the bill nicely as it has enough inputs for more ambitious home recording projects, but could also be used for live set ups for smaller bands. There are 6 XLR mic connections with extremely clear and quiet preamps. The first 4 channels include low cut adjustments and a single knob compression setting. The last 4 channels have stereo line level inputs and most importantly, it has a USB interface for DAW recording via computer. All the sliders and knobs are smooth and the onboard effects are subtle, but very good. Overall the quality of construction is excellent and it has just about all options you would typically have to pay ...

    Works great for my podcast. I currently have 3 behringer xm8500s hooked up to it and everything is great, the sound quality is fantastic. No hums or hisses when recording with audacity. The effects work very well and are easy to use. Overall very satisfied!

    I like the size and options on this compact mixer. Good quality board for the money. To me it fits my needs. Running mics vocal drum machine guitar and bass. Still exploring all the features and tricks. Like the inserts. Compressor is ok. One knob. Effects are ok. Sound is good. Clean and clear. Love the regular detachable electric cord. No nasty wall-wart. Behringer has stepped up its game. Keep it covered when not in use.

    I already had this same item but it was making a clicking sound so I was lucky enough to find another one just like it. It is easy to use and does not cost a lot of money. I am so happy that it also has the effects for the voice.

    A great mixer for the money

    Compact size Easy to access controls EQs are easy to use and work well FX processor is excellent The mute button on the 2 track channel can be overlooked due to the button and the panel both being black. A tiny of fluorescent paint or nail polish can remedy that.
