    More Than I Need at the Right Price

    I had two remotes for my bedroom fan but only one wall mount. This set gave me the extra wall mount I needed for the door leading out to our sunroom plus an extra remote control that I can keep at my bedside or on my headboard, Set comes with two screws for mounting plus the battery that makes the handset work. Did it immediately work on my fan and lights? No, because you'll need to code the signal from the handset. That was simple enough with the two functioning remotes I already had since it was simply a matter of taking off the battery cover and matching a small array of switches over the battery cavity with a ballpoint pen. Half of the package, which connects to your ceiling fan and enables remote control operation, was wasted on me, but the package (an easy-to-open blister pack) ...

    light weight and clear features

    Very pleased with the Hampton Bay 70830 Hand Held Wireless Remote for ceilings fans, fits in the hand or in the included wall bracket. Pleasant shape, with large on/off switch for light and has separate easy to read selections for low, medium. and fast speeds for the fan, with their own on/off switch. Exact remote replacement for the Hampton Bay ceiling fan I purchased years ago no longer available in stores.

    Good replacement.

    Used this unit to replace a honeywell remote that had no range. Installation is standard, but don't forget to set the code on the transmitter before you install it (my bad). This unit has great range and the buttons have a good feel.
