      MAKITA 6095D 9.6V CORDLESS 3/8" DRILL / DRIVER

      The Makita line of Drills is a well established name in the commercial and residential markets. For many years their quality has been, in the past 20+ years, And still is' synonymous, With may other more expensive Drill Drivers, these Drills require only basic Maintenance' & Occasional Lubrication of the motor.       Best classic drill out there.

      This drill is a classic, must-have. Because it's vintage, it doesn't light your work area as newer models do, but its rechargeable batteries are lightweight, its grip is solid and it's a sensitive tool. So glad I could find a replacement for my old drill, which finally gave out after 40 years. Very happy I could find a replacement.

      heavier than the original

      Must be a bigger motor because it's a lot heavier than my original. Works well but obviously the different weight and case take some getting use to. Fwd/Rev switch is in different position and torque is stronger so be prepared. This is not a negative review, just stating be aware you will find differences. P.S. I know these tools.......sold them for 20 yrs.

      I needed a second drill like the one I already have. This exact match allows me to drill starter holes with one and drive screws with the other. And both take the same batteries.
