The FM radio worked though, and surprisingly well. I also appreciate the sellers help in trying to solve the problem, but ultimately, that went nowhere. The build itself if flimsy plastic held together by flimsy bits, but it's well enough. It's not worth the $10-12 though; it'd be better to buy a slightly more expensive, but absolutely working MP3.

I decided to decline the partial and use them on something else instead of what they were originally intended for. Since I am using them I wouldnt feel right accepting the partial refund. Seller attempted to make it right. I hope they change the item description to polymer or plastic instead of aircraft aluminum for clarity of future potential buyers.
