    cool product

    great image quality and size. adjustability. unfortunately sometimes the driver doesnt work for the 3d (both cameras), although the raw cam does. the adjustment software refers to the wrong eye, but i can get it to adjust reasonably well. on my other windows 7 machine, the driver install keeps coming in off screen, so i cant even install. might be the OS, but nothing else does this. also you have to search online for the right driver/software, which isnt straightforward, because the CD that came with it is rubbish. I think its not or barely supported anymore by the Japanese company Minoru. I am sure it wont work in 3D on Linux, but you can still use the webcam.

    Inexpensive, but not good for 3d applications

    The cameras work. They appear as a pair of 640x480 devices. The problem with this is that the driver thinks there's not enough bandwidth to run them together. To get image capture from both you need to run them 15 fps 320x240. Even this is a problem because one image comes before the other. The bigger problem is that the cameras are not properly aligned, so if trying to do a depth map, they don't line up. The right way to do this kind of device would be to have a beam splitter lens using a single camera sensor.

    Useless product

    If I had known how bad and low resolution these cameras were, I would not have bought them. The design is cute but the image is so fuzzy, despite the calibrations and suggested adjustments, that the result is unusable. It is true that its low price did not suggest a very high quality, but I would have expected better. In addition, I would have liked to return it, but the cost of transport being higher than the price of the camera, it would have cost me more to return it than to keep it. In short, I made a bad purchase which resulted in a pure loss of money. I do not recommend this product.
