    Item arrived with some cracks in the plastic packaging that were on both sides so it was concerning because of all the on line talk of counterfeits. The cracks in packing appeared to be just large enough that I was worried if it had been tampered with or a fake. But I tested, checked under the hood and also noted the bat test button worked for diagnostic and also lights up one bar at a time reaching full bright red. All internals on the top board looked factory when compared to an authentic. Ok

    My forge m18 battery came extremely fast, for any of you on the fence about it, I received a genuine Forge m18 battery 8.0. It came new in it's original packaging and it ran through the diagnostics. So it's genuine as it gets. Great price for what you get. Looks and feels great with the new chemical resistant coating!

    Milwaukee Forge 8.0 was genuine and packaged well. It’s amazing that you can buy this battery for over $100 less than Home Depot and still get a genuine product! Some sellers are bogus and sell really good knock-offs, but this seller sells genuine batteries at wholesale prices. Some of my colleagues in my trade (electrician) also use this seller. I love it.
