    Perfect for my shanty seat

    I have a bench style seat in my pop up shanty. Its a 2x12 and this fits great. There is no slipping and the lower lumbar pad is nice. I can adjust the back in a jiffy. I like the idea of no arm rests so I can work my rods quickly. And, If I am by myself I can adjust from one side back to the center. This definitely was worth the money. Another addition to "tweeking" my ice shanty.

    Doesn't fit a Kayak

    I see it had in title for Kayak, well without hacking it up to place the seat in my Kayak! So not what I thought it would be! Might be great in a canoe I don't know. But for a Kayak not so good. Looks like I might use for a stadium seat. Didn't return cause it would cost half what I paid. So just let ya know.

    Inexpensive back support

    Sitbacker canoe seats are not expensive and perform as advertised. They are compact, light, and easy to install and remove. They really add an extra level of comfort to recreational canoeing.

    Slippery buckle straps !!!

    Nice Product ! very well made but with one issue. Bought for a Sundolphin Scout SS Canoe 14' comes with plastic molded bench seats. the issue is that the straps that buckle to hold the seat in place slide very easily around the bench seat and you eventually end up sliding of back of bench with seat and all. can't say for a wooden slat seat with webbing but plastic yes ! and straps were almost to short to go all way around bench and snap. the Canoe is the same as a Coleman Scanoe made by KL industries. love the seat though and when not sliding was very comfy. easy fix was to strap seat to bench mark webbing buckle straps front and back install Grommets picked up at Home Depot 10$ kit, self tapping screws 3-4 $ Install by using self tapping screws into thick part of seat lips Good to go ...
