        BW4000 -- Too early to tell, but so far, so good.

        Relatively easy to install. Nice features on the battery backup control panel. Instructions and website are a good source of extra information and additional instructions. Seems to be well made and sturdy. I've only been using this system for a few weeks so it's really too early to tell how it will perform in a crisis. I'll find out this spring when the waters really start coming in to my sump pumps. Only minor complaint was that they didn't explain, to my satisfaction, how to adjust the primary and backup floats. They came tied up to the unit so I thought that's where they had to stay. After all it says "comes assembled." Didn't realize you could cut the plastic ties and move the floats up or down by rearranging the height of the floats. Didn't want to mess with that in fear of voiding ...

        As described, installed quickly using basic tools and included directions, and works perfectly.

        I have been using Basement Watchdog products for sump backup for more than 15 years. The BW4000 works as advertised. It is very easy to install without using a licensed plumber. This recent purchase was as described. It installed quickly and worked without fail.

        Good product and price, easy install

        I saw this same product at my local Home Depot store, for a lot more money. This is a complete sump pump, with backup battery pump, all assembled together, with the battery charger and a case for you to use your own full size backup battery. Install made simple...take it out of the box, set it into your sump pit, hook it up to your existing pipe leading outside and you're done. My home had a sump pump with battery back up pump, but this is so much better in one package. You can use your own backup battery or purchase a watchdog battery. I'm using my own. My sump runs frequently, rain or shine, so I need a good system. This certainly fits my needs. Both pumps are strong and fast.

        Don't risk a power outage without it.

        This was easy to install and it's much quieter than the one we had. I purchased the Watchdog AGM27 battery from Lowe's. Next I believe I will purchase the WIFI alert add on.
