      Best Processor I've owned

      This is my third food processor. The one before this was a Hamilton Beach. While it worked sufficiently, it sounded like a train running through my house every time I used it. The noise alone deterred me from using it. Eventually, just over a year later, it broke. I didn't want to keep going through food processors so I did a lot of research and most all independent reviews said that this model was the best. From the first use, I can tell a major difference from the other two machines that I've owned. This one is heavy duty, sturdy and performs like a professional processors. Nothing like the other two processors that I've owned. I own several cuisinart appliances and everyone one of them have lasted me 10+ years, and still going.       did not fit my DLC 10e

      I'm sure this is great for most DLC-10 models but it didn't quite fit my old DLC-10e. I am able to use it by bypassing the safety inter locks but this isn't convenient Advise, make sure you have a more recent DLC 10 to be sure of compatibility

      I Use This Every Day

      I am so dependent upon my Cuisinart 10S which has to to 15 years old and the other day, I just was in too much of a hurry and put the bowl on a pan that was heating up which ruined the pan and of course the bowl melted. At first I was in a panic thinking I had to replace the whole machine but I was so relieved to find Shasha selling the replacement bowls very affordabley and she even took my offer which made it even sweeter. This item fit my 10S machine exactly like my old one, it's like we never had that unfortunate accident and we're all back slicing, chopping, and doing everything we did before.       NEW Cuisinart

      While, this is a New machine, still in original box and appears to be unused, It has been in that box for a Very long time! The instruction tape with it is for a VCR! Haven't had one of those for years. Overall,it works well, but I don't like the start mechanism. Have to manually turn top of machine to engage shredder. Very Awkward. Wish I hadn't bought this machine sight unseen!
