    Perfect for the everyman!

    The scanner works admirably, easily scans a full page but will not scan past 11" in length as far as I can tell. The default scan setting is 300dpi with the ability to tap the one main button into 600dpi mode. Software is available on the somewhat confusing doxie website, but the software is critical to making the experience. Wifi - the wifi button creates an ad hoc network to which you must attach your laptop in order to transfer scans to the software. Hidden within the settings menu is the ability to attach doxie to your home wifi network. The scanner is likely one of the better options available in terms of hardware and software , but it's love of "so simple, just scan" instructions makes it hard to understand exactly how to get the images you want from it at first.
