    Samsung Galaxy Avant

    The phone is easy to use and so far does what I need. My only complaint is the volume on speaker not that loud, especially when you put it on speaker phone, otherwise I am very happy with it. Also great value under $60, I paid $5 for my old phone, couldn't read emails or send or receive picture messages, this phone I get it all. Glad I went shopping on eBay.

    Terrible battery life but good function

    I like the display and speed of use but battery is drained after only a couple hours. I've disabled a bunch of built-in apps and make sure to close apps I'm not using but still needs to change after a couple hours of typical use.

    phone has the charm for the wise and prudent

    May 2016 I like Samsung cam phones .. My Avant phone is business friendly in style and size. It has pleasing speed, memory, camera clarity and functions. I am very happy with it. Its easy to navigate through the various features and is able to fit in my pockets easily. I use for if for calling, texting, emailing, IM(instant messaging) and Skype..... all without problems. I don't live on the phone nor do I get a barrage of calls, so the battery lasts me easily all day. Though the videoing abilities are great, I don't watch videos on it cuz I like to see what I am looking at as on big screens, but if those of you that want to watch videos on phones, this one will probably be suffice in satisfying the masses. best of luck in your phone ventures....

    Samsung Avant -- Galaxy Lite

    This is the second Avant I've bought--one for my wife as her first smartphone and one for my daughter because of how my wife liked it and it was cheap. I use a larger Galaxy, but the Avant does everything my wife wants it to, it's easy to learn to navigate and has quite a good battery life. The higher range Galaxys have more features and more memory and higher speeds, but for a light user who uses it mostly for phone calls, text messages and light web browsing--Facebook, emails and such, the Avant is the perfect small form, inexpensive smartphone.
