    Vintage water toys s(t)ink.

    No fault of the shipper, it took a full week to receive the item due to USPS's ineptness. It had a small crack on one of the propeller drives. I deemed it repairable as I'm very good with repairs such as this. I opened the previously unopened package which had minor packaging damage making it unreturnable but with high hopes all would be well. Nope. The crack was indicative of further damage internally where the ability to dive and return was not functionable. Ok, I'll use it as a surface vessel. Nope. Within minutes the "vintage" wire seals proved to be dried up and allowed water to flood the electronics. Takeaways- Don't ship USPS and don't buy vintage water toys. I purchased a "Subma-rine Tourism"on Amazon for 30 bucks (10 bucks cheaper) that is spectacular, no batteries, uses ...
