    Better than home made

    Well engineered & well made. However, two of the welded on nuts for the ‘feet’ fell off. Someone needs to learn how to weld. Also, one plastic wire tie on the ‘padding’ was broken. Easy to replace. Entire structure fairly easy to put together. No spare parts or fasteners.

    Good unit but too small.

    The quality was good. It came quickly. The only problem I have is that its made for smaller Kayaks. I have a old town top water 10'5" and an ellie 10'. I had to raise the top J hooks using 1 bolt instead of 2 and the kayaks had to face in instead of out. Joe P.

    Works Great

    I received this rack a couple of weeks ago. I just purchased two kayaks and wanted to be able to store them either outside, or in the garage. It was fairly easy to assemble (although I did initially start to set it up wrong) and it took me about a hour. Wrenches are supplied with the package, but a ratchet makes it much easier. The quality is good--I sort of wondered it it was going to be sturdy enough, but it is more than strong enough for two 12 foot kayaks. Put the rack in my garage, and it works like a charm. The kayaks are off the floor, and are fairly easy to put on and take off the rack. I am very pleases, and for the price, it was a great buy.

    Kayak stand great

    The kayak rack is great. It was easy to put together. It holds the two kayak's well off the ground. The only problem was where I located it. It is located on a grassy slope. I had to place boards under the legs to make the rack more stable. Other than that, the kayak rack is great.
