        great phone if you don't like cell phones

        I bought this for my 80 year old sister in a Nursing Home.She had so much trouble with the phone there and we could never reach her .She didn't understand the buttons and it was always off the hook. This phone is excellent for her because it is a phone that is easy to use and she can tell when it is not on the base. She loves it.

        The phone was purchased to replace the AT&T model 210M. The phone when used on the wall does not allow the handset to sit on the cradle. The cradle has a pull-out "hook" that is used to hold the handset in place but it does stay in place. So if you plan to use it as a wall phone, good luck!

        Great Phone at a Great Price, but the Service was Awesome

        Basic phone - great application

        We got this landline phone for bedside use. We like that the ringer can be turned off completely .. if we hear the downstairs phone ringing while in bed, we'll answer the call with this phone. If we don't hear the downstairs phone when it rings - meaning while we're sleeping - our answering machine takes over, and our sleep isn't disturbed. The dial lights, it stores 13 1-button memory numbers and it's Princess-like style doesn't take up a lot of space and it looks nice on our night table. A negative: the coiled line from cradle to handset is short, and the cradle has nothing but air inside it .. which means it's easy to pull the cradle off wherever you have it when you lift the handset. I've overcome this annoyance by installing a longer coiled line and opening and filling the ...
