      The Synology DS418 arrived a lot sooner than eBay said it would, like a week earlier. I’m not complaining, of course. It just seemed odd that they would prepare me to receive it in a couple of weeks, only to receive it in a couple of days. So, the device looks like a new, mint-condition NAS, in a box that had been opened, but not unpacked. I haven’t yet installed the 4 x 4GB Red Western Digital HDD’s to test. But IO am confident that it will work as advertised. Thank you very much.
