        Just right for exercise

        I had an old portable CD player that would skip whenever it wasn't held level and steady. Needed something I could plunk on the treadmill while I was exercising at the healthplex downstairs at work. This works well, continues to play even when it's not held or placed level. Good sounds, seems relatively tough. It is a bit large and heavier than I hoped, but it works well and is what I was looking for. Thanks!

        Sony quality, great sound and reliability

        These are high quality, sturdy and reliable CD players. Some lesser brands cannot be played unless they are laying flat and you cant bump or drop them, The Sony Discman Sports is the Timex of portable players, takes a licken' and keeps on tickin'. I had one for more than a decade and played many CD's before it went to heaven. I stock piled a few of these to last me till the end...

        Great CD player

        I always listen to music while working around the yard. and i have went through 2 CD players. I seen this one and it fits everything I was looking for. It's rugged and if I can listen to Cds or the radio. And so far it seems that the battery life is also better. Love this thing!

        Good quality portable CD Players but no MP3 or ATRAC PLUS

        These players have good sound and build quality and a good FM radio tuner built in, but don’t have either MP3 or ATRAC3Plus file playing capabilities as they are too old for that. The shock resistance during music playback is very good. Highly recommended!

        This walkman works sometimes

        I purchased this Walkman for my mother who still loves to listen to books from the library on CD. She says this product is not consistent. Sometimes is works and sometimes it does not. She never knows when it will work. She had changed batteries and other fixes without any resolution
