    DMC-zs19

    I lost my prior DMC-zs20 and had previously used a DMC-zs19. I purchased this camera as the size is convenient and the picture quality outstanding for the price point. I needed a camera that took pictures quickly for my work and so while there are updated options available, this was my choice for a solid performing item. Both Panasonic cameras hold their value and give great point and shoot flexibility. I highly recommend.

    LUMIX 25x Lyca Zoom.

    a good sweet spot for this family of cameras. 25x zoo is usually enough for us mere mortals. just make sure you get it at a good price, $100 is about right.

    Overall the Lumix is a very good camera, but my Iphone is better.

    Settings and tools are not intuitive and you may need the manual. It's a good size and the image quality is generally sharp and very good, but the processor picks up too much contrast and has to be tweaked in Photoshop. Flash is okay but not good in closeups.
