      Very dissatisfied Not as it look on the picture

      I bought this alternators because it match my 1996 Honda civic... on receiving I tried to install it ... so far I had two problems one of the side where the alternator sits on the motor, was broken and they tried to mend it with a washer and was too tight to fit. The other problem was the hole that would been for the adjustable bolt did not have threads and I had to go and purchase a two inch bolt with a nut which there's no need for a nut if they would of threaded. What I did to the washer that they mend I kind of modified by hammering it flat so that it can be lineup with the housing holes. Im very disappointed on the outcome of this alternator hopefully it hold up. Also I will be testing for 130 amps they claimed that it will be putting out. ByThe Way the + power terminal on this ...

      99 civic alternator

      Bought this for my 99 civic ex. Only issue I ran into is the adjustment hole on the stock one was threaded this one was not. The solution - a slightly longer bolt, lock washer and nut. Other thab that it's still workimg great.

      130 amp alternator

      The unit failed after 1 year, it looks like they spray painted all over it without taking it apart also the top hole doesn’t have bolt threads to use the oem adjustable bolt.

      Good deal

      Came in 3 days, very impressed with the packaging, they custom cut hard foam pieces for it. It’s cleaner a remanufacture but it’s charging the car at a steady 14.1-14.4v even under load. No more dimming!
