      NOT FOR 1s APPLICATIONS

      This ESC will not work if you plan on running 1/12 scale on a 1s lipo... Even with a receiver pack, the motor will not run. However, the motor is more than capable of hanging with the big dogs with a 1s capable ESC. Also seems very zippy with a 2s pack, but haven't had an opportunity to race with it in that configuration. All in all a great combo for the price!

      Good and bad

      Motor is great in spite of the lack of can timing adjustment. ESC is lacking though. The boost timing comes on like a bucking bull. Goes from nothing to way too much too hard and fast regardless of which setting you choose. I've done them all and it is only drivable on high grip surfaces or very large tracks.

      Reverse power

      The system is easy to install. It has great forward power, slow crawl or full throttle. The power in reverse is almost non-existent and it just does not have any power or speed in reverse. I have it in a axial wraith and sometimes you need power in reverse. If I knew this before I bought it, I wouldn't have bought this combo.
