    Original Design Could Be Better

    This was supplied with the Mira shower I bought, really happy with the shower etc but this clamp has a ratchet that was not tested on Mira’s heavy chromed shower head as it is not up to the job. When you stow the showe head it drops down and will not stay in position unless you turn the flow up, this is on a combi system and could imagine it being worse in an electric shower where the pressure/ flow is a lot less. With lighter shower heads Inpresume it would be ok. Now to follow up, I have now purchased this as a replacement and it seems there is an improvement to the design, the ratchet is stiffer to operate and the shower head stays in position, had it a month and so far no problems, however time will tell.

    Good quality poor design.

    Good quality but cannot alter the angle you can if you take it apart but will not stay in that position. It seems that the angle it is set at is the only one not good.

    Not solid chrome

    This shower clamp arrived quickly and was fairly straight-forward to install, but a little fiddly. My only comment is that I was surprised to find it wasn't chrome, rather plastic with a chrome colour finish. I'm not sure how long it will last and it seems quite expensive for a small fitting - but this was the best price for the item still that we would find.

    Good quality and good fit

    My existing shower head holder broke and the my vertical tube was 18mm. This shower head clamp is 19mm so a perfect fit the clamping mechanism is also good. Setting the shower head angle is a bit of a faf.
