      Might Recommend With Reservation

      This review is entirely about the product and not the seller. I might recommend this product with serious reservations. I needed to modify the board to fit my camera. I purchased this to use with my 5X7 Traditional Canham camera with the Linhof Technika front standard. As shipped, the board would not seat properly. There is a lip/flange on this adapter that was .100 wider in diameter than the flange on a stock Technika lens board. Consequently it would not drop into the standard hole and sit flush in the mount. Because of this the standard's clamps would not hold it in place. It would have also leaked light. Fortunately I have a machine shop and I was able to reduce the diameter of the flange and correct the problem. A different make of camera may have a wide enough tolerance for the ...
