    Simple and performs exactly how I imagined

    Looking to bring out a lead line in your playing but didn't want an immediate presence into the soundscape without a quick volume introduction of the new sound. This pedal is a permanent dweller in my lead signal and is simple to use. Dial up the amount of swell you want with the large attack knob and play. I use very little swell and often times in a lead line, it will give the sound a singing quality to it. Perfectly described online. EXACTLY what i wanted. Easy to use and small footprint. Some may be more complex with greater features but I wanted simple.

    Mooer - Slow Engine review

    Does exactly as demo'd on youtube! Quiet, clean, and easy to use! Took the place of my POG 2 for "ambient swells" and occupies way less space on my pedal board! Bought the Mooer "Red Truck" multi-fx following this purchase and love it as well! Next to buy is their "Pitch Box" to help ease up on my capo use when the keyboard player picks those strange keys in the stage band at church, I just can't do those bar chords in sets like I used to when I was younger - HA! Enough about me, this effect is one of my favorites especially for the price! Longevity remains to be seen, but this thing works wonderfully right now! ~

    Great Value for the price

    For the small price of this awesome box, if you take a little time with it, you can get some really different sounds out of your guitar with it! Very happy with it. Wrote a new song with it the first day I sat down and messed around with it. Can't say that about most pedals I paid double and triple for! TLM

    Good for simple signal chain

    It does what is advertised with a straight up guitar signal but it does not sound like the demo where it sounds like Brian May. If you are into a lot of effects it falls short. Tracking will not work well in a medium to long signal chain. If you have a couple of boxes and each effect is set up perfectly then it produces a reasonable flowing sound. For me it was disappointing I don't like to leave negative reviews but frankly I wish I had done more research. Other Mooer stuff is good particularly the Cab Sim I have several Mooer boxes and am pleased. Thanks

    rare effect

    cool effect. I was playing violin parts with my volume pedal until I bought this small pedal. the song, Bittersweet Symphony sounds perfect using the slow engine with a boost pedal for more volume. there is a slight volume loss which is expected.
