    This is a lot of history for the buck!

    This book is very well researched. Michigan Gold and Silver mining is a very obscure subject and there is virtually nothing available on standard references and searches. The book has maps that show the location of each mine. Each mining company is covered in the text. The are some photos and mine cross sections. There are photos of men involved with the mining enterprises, some stock certificates, and lots of newspaper advertisement. The book covers recent mining in the Huron Mountains at the Ropes Gold Mine and the Eagle Mine.
