    Works but not durable!

    Charger works fine, I expected it would charge much slower because it is only 12 V but that's not bad. After three weeks of light usage the wire near the end that plugs into the surface Pro 2 split. It detached from the magnet and I could see the wiring underneath. Now I have to replace the charger again because it has a shortage.

    NOT SAFE

    The connection from cable to surface plug came loose within a week. The charger itself gets VERY hot when charging during a video. And last but not least, the cord cable to plug connection also will not stay together--- resulting in the eventual loud BOOM as it shorts itself out -- and detaches the two parts into a dangerous situation where a plug sits alone in your wall jack -- threatening to shock anyone who might touch it's no longer insulated wires. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM -- it's quality is below the threshold that anyone would call safe to use. BTW, all of this happened within a few weeks of intermittent use.

    Poor design

    The charging design of the Surface Pro is defective. The charger cable comes apart just below the magnetic attachment.
