However it holds the tablet well, when closed offers protection for the display of the tablet. Looks leather-ish, but does really have that leather feel. It does what it is design to do providing protection to the device. Price seems a bit less than other cases for this size tablet. Was packaged in a manner to be new as indicated.

The elastic strap is NOT the best idea for keeping the case closed. It's nice that it swivels 360 degrees, but POOR in that there is NO quick and secure means of locking it into place for either landscape or portrait viewing in the case. It's NOT leather, but "pleather" or synthetic leather over cardboard. FAST shipping! Like I said, it's protection for a tablet
