    Ok, not great

    When the charger for my drill batteries stopped working, rather than buying a new drill I opted to find a replacement charger. I stumbled upon this and purchased it hoping I could charge my drill batteries and go back to using my drill as normal. However, I have two batteries and one of them won't charge with this charger at all, and the other battery seems to only charge about halfway, leaving my drill to perform less than subpar. I feel I can't give an accurate rating as I don't know if my batteries are dysfunctional, or if this charger is a dud. That said, the price was ideal and it arrived quickly. I have yet to contact the seller to see if I can get a replacement, but if I do I will update this review.

    Not great for 18 volt battery!

    This item is well made but it is NOT very good for charging an 18V battery! It charges at a 7.2 volt rate and takes way too long. It may very well work much better for a lower voltage battery. I bought my drill used and it did have a 20 volt charger that fit and work fine for several years.

    Saves the day

    I purchased this for my elderly neighbor who bought 2 cordless drills (12v & 18v) from a yard sale dirt cheap but did not have the charger to go with them. He said it works great! He couldn't be happier.
