I might try sanding down the plastic to see if it fits better.

Comes with an instructional video, and this replacement part is made to be EASIER to install than Sony's OEM sliding part, which apparently requires soldering. Just the included tool set and that's it. Also, they're built to last longer than the OEM sliding part. Terrific! Great buy indeed

That was not good enough, the customer demanded a refund and threatened to use a negative review and feedback to get a free item. Unfortunately, ebay does not protect sellers like they do with the buyers. The claims made are false. The only difference was the color of the battery coating, everything else is the same as in the listing. The customer is not always right, especially in this case.
