    Almost perfect

    Had the GLM 42 which costs much more but is too complicated so I returned it. I prefer the simplicity of the 30 yet it has all the functions I`ll ever need. The only cons for are the back light could stay on longer and most importantly I wish I could set display accuracy to 16ths instead of 32nds - no one needs 32nds from a laser measure and it's much harder to convert.

    Not just to measure length.

    Great product. Has a lot of different ways to calculate, length, square feet, triangulation, which I did not expect it did. says accurate to 1/16" in 100 feet. Very worth the money
