    Doesn’t match picture - need silver plunger for older valves!

    Comes with new shorter black plunger which is easy to find. I bought this same solenoid a few months ago based on the photo and it was the silver one as shown. Bought this one and it’s black and therefore useless to me.

    what you see is not what you get

    will not work with older orbit valves, the photo shown in the picture is not the solenoid that you will receive in your order. you will receive a later model solenoid that has a plastic plunder and the base is smaller. as result, it will not work older orbit valves.

    Orbit solenoids

    These are genuine Orbit solenoids. I have put other universal solenoids from Home Depot and my sprinklers would not spray to their full potential. These solenoids work best for the Orbit valves!
