    It's great, don't let a channel scan fool you!

    I compared this antenna against comparable models from RCA and GE. This antenna detected only 58 channels after a channel scan while the RCA and GE antennas detected 63. At first I assumed this was an inferior antenna but that assumption was incorrect. The signal strength and quality on the RCA and GE devices would fluctuate, dropping from 100% to mid-70%, resulting in image degradation and tiling. This behavior was observed on multiple channels. The One For All 16472, however, locked in the channels at 100% signal strength and quality, resulting in a consistently high image quality. Highly recommended.

    About the same as others.

    Product is comparable to others but if you live in a marginal area don't expect this product to save you. TV towers 20 to 30 miles away. When I turned it on I only got one light signal strength. I knew I was in trouble. Moving to a window did not help. If you live closer to the towers it will probably be fine. I will use it for times my cable is out.

    Very average antenna but surprisingly difficult to mount

    This antenna is surprising difficult to mount on a wall or vertical surface because of its weight. It's far more heavier than the film-type flat antenna but it doesn't work well when left on tables and such. The signal meter also seem useless. It showed 1 light (of 4) at my home. To test, I drove to the TV transmitter in my area, which has full power stations, and the meter only went up to 2 lights. The antenna packaging claim the amplifier is AGC-based (automatic gain control) but it's just a marketing gimmick. Most people would have strong and weak signals a the same time from different stations. This AGC have no way of knowing what channel user is tuning on, will error on the side of applying lower gain than needed by getting affected by the presence of stronger signals on the UHF ...

    This item didn't give us clear channels in our area. We ended up getting cable for internet and T.V. at the same time, which has many more clear channels.
