There are no instructions so you just have to mangle it until it gets into shape, leaving the buildings torn, worn down, and it resists keeping its shape. If you don't use tape or glue it will fall apart or sit on your table as a lumpen mess. I reached out to ask if I could return it since it didn't seem like how it was advertised and they ignored me. DON'T BUY! Save the money. I know it's cheap but sheesh
