    Wonderful Story

    This is a supernatural story with beautiful animation. What makes it great is character development and a story line that tugs at your heart. Part is set in current times, and part in pre-World War II Japan (when foreigners became unwelcome). There is mystery, drama, loss and romance of sorts. It draws a connection between a girl of the past and a girl visiting the area. The rest you'll have to see for yourself. I watched it on Anime Network and it's worth buying.

    The Last Studio Ghibli Movie??

    I own all of the Studio Ghibli movies. After watching Spirited Away I was hooked. When Marnie Was There was the last one I needed to complete my collection. It is sad to think that this movie could be the last one ever made by Studio Ghibli. I just watched the movie with my family and while it might not be up there with the very best of the Studio Ghibli movies, I have to say that it is in that notch right below. It was very engaging story and had me in tears by the end. I recommend it to anyone who is a fan of Studio Ghibli.
