    Another gem from Bandai

    Most modellers will tell you that the best kits are made by the Japanese Tamiya company, and they are most likely right. But the models produced by Bandai are almost as good, perhaps even AS good. Back in the 1970s, their line of 1/48 tank kits were very advanced for the time, and are still sought after today. And for the last twenty years or so, their Gundam kits are some of the best kits you can buy. The same goes for these Star Wars kits, I have quite a few, and they are universally excellent. The quality of the tooling, and level of detail are off the charts. I unreservedly recommend these to any modeller who is a fan of Star Wars, and even a non fan will appreciate and enjoy building them.

    Bandai excels again

    As with all the Bandai Star Wars kits, this one is a little gem; packed with detail, beautifully moulded and the precision of the parts fit is sublime. Even though you only get 'stickers' with this small scale kit (rather than a choice of stickers or waterslide decals in the larger scale kits), they are commendably thin and should work well if you choose to use them. I tend to paint the required colours. Don't forget; these are kits requiring assembly and painting. Although they do 'snap' together very well indeed, a dot of Tamiya Extra Thin glue will hold them together nicely, and you will need to buy your own paints if you choose to paint them beyond the extent that the stickers will do for you. I wouldn't advise them for young children without adult supervision due to the small parts ...

    Well detailed small, easy build

    Great detail. If you want this kit to stand out it will all depend on your painting skills. I base coated and then masked off the wings for the black. Adding some weathering details on these little guys makes a difference
