      Caution on this seller based in CA, could not deliver to WA on time. Ordered Simplisafe Cameras on Thur Feb 6th, requested shipment on Sat Feb 8th for Feb 12-14 expected delivery as advertised. Did not ship until Mon Feb 10th and not delivered until Tue Feb 18th, however I can not confirm receipt until I return to delivery location in 2 months so the transaction is a complete failure to me. I had to make alternate costly arrangements since seller could not delivery on time (4 days late).

      The camera will NOT set off an alarm.

      Sadly, when the alarm is set on "AWAY" and the camera senses motion, it will NOT set off an alarm. Only a Motion Detection module will do that.
