    Performs well, as expected

    The RYOBI leaf vacuum we recently purchased works well and is what we expected as we already have a lawn mower, trimmmer/edger, blower, and hedge trimmer from this family of products. I love that one battery and charger works for all tools. The leaf vacuum has good suction and mulches the leaves as it picks them up, which means a lot of leaves will fit in the bag. The bag does get heavy, though, so it needs to be emptied long before it is full. The adjustable wheel does help with weight and with making sure you are only getting leaves and not gravel or bark. I would buy it again.

    Ryobi leaf vacuum

    Disappointed. Most Ryobi tools work great for the money. Vacuum has limited suction and will not pick up large leaves as advertised. You must hold suction tube almost flat to the ground to pick up any leaves at all. The only good quality of the tool is its ability to mulch what leaves it is able to pick up.

    Pretty Much Does What I Need a Cordless Vacuum to do

    I wasn't sure what to expect, but overall, I like the vacuum. I am using the vacuum primarily to vacuum up leaves and blossoms that land on the cement decking around our pool. I really don't care about the mulching feature, as I don't pick up that much material. When I first used it, I didn't realize that it came out of the box set on HIGH, which was really loud and strong. When I set it to low, it was much quieter and better met my needs. I have an old Toro blower that converts to a vacuum, and I like how you can wear the bag strap over your shoulder. Having the bag under the vacuum tube is a bit unstable, but it isn't bad. I If you were piking up a large amount of leave, the bag might be a bit unwieldy. Set on low, I can get about four 10 minute sessions out of a battery ...

    Great value for money and small to medium jobs

    Not as powerful as an electric one but it does the light jobs around the house effectively. Its made of sturdy materials with an all important metal impeller which grinds up small twigs and acorns. Love that it uses same batteries as my other Ryobi products.
