    MsMoney

    Money has a LOT of features, but one should have more income and expenses than an average weekly salary of minimum wage. If one doesn't have multiple accounts, a portfolio, nor a need to follow the stock market then Money isn't for you. It's an exciting prospect, once one gets past the "set-up". I wasn't able to go back a edit incorrect bill dates, for example. That doesn't mean it can't be done, but I didn't find it. MsMoney is based on outdated paradigms. It attempts to stay connected (unnecessarily) to the internet and offers to be the "go between" for bills and income and banks. I believe Microsoft has discontinued the product..not sure on that. That would seem to be a good choice. "WORKS" on the other hand is a delight.. has everything I wanted including a spreadsheet that eliminates ...

    Not For Windows 10

    I loved Msworks 3.0, and for a long time it worked OK on Windows 10, but suddenly the copy/paste function, a necessity, started causing a protection fault. Possibly this was due to a Windows 10 update. I was able to load 6.0 and the copy/paste works fine, but it has problems with Windows 10 and is not happy. Also, in general, I think the more intricate layout is more of a problem than an asset, and the absence of a shortcut for typing the date, is unfortunate.

    I stayed with Works 6.0!

    I would guess that others have noticed that often an upgrade to a product gives undesirable results? That's how later versions or Works was for me, one thing that I do is print envelopes, and the upgrade was not acceptable, hard to use, cumbersome. I have come to regard 'upgrades' as undesirable. If you are happy with a product, I say "if it's not broke, don't fix it"! I'll stay bwith Works 6.0! I'm still running XP also, I tried Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and I have come back and stayed with XP!

    Best Bang For The Buck

    I needed a word processor app for a refurbed laptop and didn't want to spend more than I paid for the laptop itself to get MS Word - and Open Office just don't cut it. WORKS is the best bang for the buck.
