Load its input tray with a maximum 60 sheets. Its output tray holds 25 sheets, and prints include borders.This deskjet prints black and color ink. Its highest print resolution is 600x600 rendered dpi for black ink. For color, it is 4800x1200 optimized dpi and 1200x1200 input dpi. Ink cartridges store the ink, and this printer holds two ink cartridges. Replacement cartridge options include HP 61 and HP 61XL. Use the Deskjet 2542's copier to reproduce text and images.         My Granddaughter starts college and needed a printer, It does everything the high dollar printer does at 1/4 the price. This is the second one I have purchase, the other is at my Church we use it to print lesson plans for our Celebrate Recovery Group so far it is working Great.

        HP2542 Printer

        The printer is in new condition. The only issue I had was that the package contained no means to connect it to the computer, neither an wireless USB insert nor a cord. Fortunately I hadn't discarded the cord from my 2541 printer. the price was high, but I wanted another 2540 series printer.

        I like the HP all in ones,,and I purchased this model for two reasons,,the lower price than some of the other inks,, and it's wireless,and I do not have, nor have access to any computer,, therefore I use it with my droid cell phone....Velvet Chelton
