I had high hopes...and my hopes were crushed. The old saying "you get what you pay for" really holds true here. After I installed with the recommended bracket there was three inches of play up and down on the rim. Very flimsy. I had to cut 4X4's to brace the backboard just so I could shoot some hoops. Save yourself the headache and spend a little more money on something much better.

It's plastic
For some reason I was expecting something more substantial than a plastic backboard! I doubt if it will last a LIFETIME. I should have pulled one off of the shelf at the big discount store and saved about $25.00!.
