      Great log car

      These cars are nicely detailed and look great! There are slight variations through the years, and the ones like this particular car have very smooth-rolling wheels; the flanges are not as prototypical as found on newer rolling stock, but these cars are very difficult to derail, even on very rough rails as would be found on a number of logging railroads. The logs are actual wood, not plastic, and vary slightly from one car to the next. Overall, very pleased with these cars, which are becoming collectible as Rivarossi discontinued production years ago. They look great when about 40 of them are moving in a train.

      I like the quality of these cars. they very well built and have metal wheels. these cars roll on the track very smooth and very little friction.
